Finely honed original compositions Charlie Rauh & Cameron Mizell

Finely honed original compositions Charlie Rauh & Cameron Mizell – WHAT WE HAVE IN COMMON:  Two of the finest guitarists in the land collaborating on some of the most finely honed original compositions you will hear this year (or any other year, for that matter) on this new July, 2019 release; I’m just “pleased as punch” they sent the album my way for review… I found the video Cameron sent to illustrate the album MORE than fine…

…you’ll also find other songs from the album, and many more well done performance videos, so be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Cameron’s YouTube channel (since you’re there already).

The guitarists featured vocalist Ess See (Sarah Cobb) on Charlie’s beautiful “All Along The Way“, and I fell in love with it instantly… what really sets these folks apart from “all the others” is their perfect pacing… nothing rushed, but every note RIGHT on TIME, and absolutely lovely!

Be sure to listen to the intricate on-the-fly creation Charlie and Cameron realize on “You Are Missing From Me” with headphones (at least for your first sitting)… this is definitely not just “another hum-drum-strum” piece… the duo is totally engaged (and engaging)… you’ll (definitely) be hitting the “replay” button often for this tune.

The harmonic overtones Charlie and Cameron play for you on Cameron’s “A Song About A Tree” give you a sense of timeless floating, and give the listener very pleasurable memories that will last for the long-term… this is a tune that I predict will achieve a great deal of airplay!

Of the ten songs offered up, it was easy to choose the oddly-titled “I Didn’t Find It To Be That, Exactly” as my personal favorite… their guitars weave a mystery for your ears on this piece, and you’ll find yourself hanging on each note, waiting to see where the next phrase takes you.  In fact, if I were on the voting panels, this song would WIN an award… highly creative and wonderfully recorded.

I give Charlie, Cameron and Ess See a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information about these enchanting players on the Destiny Records page for the album.           Rotcod Zzaj
