passionate exciting rock fusion winner Galactic Tide – The Haas Company Vol. 1

passionate exciting rock fusion winner Galactic Tide – THE HAAS COMPANY, VOL. 1:  It only happens once every 3 years or so… I begin spinning an album (regardless of genre) and know INSTANTLY that it’s music that will go down in history… the passionate exciting rock fusion the band creates on this upcoming release (1 June, 2024) is jam-packed with world-class energy; but don’t just take our word for it, check it out first…

Totally amazing, and if you dug that as much as I did, you’ll want to make sure you SUBSCRIBE to The Haas Company YouTube channel, … I signed up right away.

A stunning cast of players, including Steve Haas – drums, Pete Drungle – keyboards and music direction, Andy Timmons – guitar, Kirwan Brown – bass, Al MacDowell – bass, Pete Gallio – saxophone, Jay Rodriguez – saxophone solo track, Wallace Roney – trumpet solo track, Mauro Refosco – percussion… you simply won’t believe your ears as you listen to the 7:35 “Stockholm Syndrome” – funk for the 21st Century, to be sure… truly one of the most high-energy and engaging fusion performances we’ve listened to (so far) in 2024!

It was the out-of-this-world fusion on the 5:49 closer, “Arrow Of Time“, that made it my personal favorite of the nine mind-numbing songs on the album… excellent pace changes, super wailing guitar that just blows you away… superbly crafted, superbly played and full of the kind of energy we absolutely love.

This album is destined to become a “hall-of-famer”, no doubt about it… I give Steve and all the players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00 – meaning it also gets a “PICK” for “best rock fusion album”.  Get more information on The Haas Company website, or on the Spotify page for the release (below).
