Beautiful emotional solo piano portraits Shoshana Michel – Reflection

Beautiful emotional solo piano portraits Shoshana Michel – REFLECTION:  I’m well familiar with Shoshana’s abilities, and can tell you that songs like “Shooting Stars” are already among my favorite solo piano pieces for 2019… just put your headphones on and gaze out at the night sky as you listen to her solo piano mastery, and you’ll be an “instant believer” in her consummate wizardry … until this goes live, though, you can witness her mastery in this video clip of the song…

…be sure to SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube channel, also; you’ll find lots more to love there.

I’ve reviewed a lot of Shoshana’s work, most recently her “Prelude To A Dream“, where she got very high marks from me… she offers up eleven very personal musical portraits that reflect her own journey; in her own words, “sometimes composing doesn’t come easy, with feelings of frustration and disappointment” and you’ll hear how wonderfully she captures those feelings on the intimate and revealing “Soothing the Tempest Within”… dark tones CAN (and often DO) lead to discovery and triumph!

Feelings of floating in a “lost space” are vividly captured on “Labyrinth” and “In a Time Lapse“… the whole world seems to be passing you by; you can rest assured these feelings are ones you share with many other folks, too (so you’re not alone with them)… brilliantly portrayed and full of emotional sustenance… I just LOVE Shoshana’s lower register work on these two pieces.

Of the eleven original compositions offered up, it is (without a doubt) the innocence and hope Shoshana projects through her dynamic playing on “Through the Eyes of a Child“… you can PRE-order this excellent solo piano album at any of the following sites:

I give Shoshana a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99; you can learn more about this engaging pianist on Shoshana’s bio page.            Rotcod Zzaj
