Intimately inspiring seasonal piano Stephen Wallack – Reflections

Intimately inspiring seasonal piano Stephen Wallack – REFLECTIONS:  When I first reviewed Stephen’s beautiful piano work on his “Chapters” album, I was very much impressed… his new album features intimately inspiring seasonal songs that will make your holidays better all around.  Though I didn’t see live performances, you can listen to the entire album when you SUBSCRIBE to Stephen’s YouTube topic channel.

What Stephen has that other pianists often don’t is a very unique way of expressing his feelings through his marvelous keyboard… as you listen to the delightful “Rudolph“, visions of stockings hanging by the fire and reindeer dancing with abandon will fill your mind, and you will realize the joy that Stephen intended with this moving tune!

Away In A Manger“, as performed by this master pianist, is full of grandeur and hope for the future… the “keyword” that comes to mind as I listen to the tune is “bright“… DJ’s across the globe will be putting this heartening song into regular rotations during the holidays, I predict.

Stephen’s “pacing” on “Frosty” is different than you might expect for a song with that title… he uses the full range of his keyboard to let you see the icicles glistening in the trees around his snowman… again, a very unique rendering and a flawless recording!

I had no doubt what my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes was going to be after my initial listen through the album (with my headphones on, of course)… Stephen uses both high and low registers of his keyboard to make the traditional “We Three Kings” come vibrantly alive for you… if any seasonal song merits an award, it is this piece… full of majesty and wonder.

I give Stephen a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  A truly magnificent holiday album that you will find yourself coming back to often.  Get more information on Stephen’s music page.                        Rotcod Zzaj
