tried and true organ jazz Brian Ho – Bridges

tried and true organ jazz Brian Ho – BRIDGES:  In another life, I was an avid amateur organist… but my efforts pale in comparison to the tried and true organ jazz that Brian and his bandmates create for us to enjoy on Brian’s upcoming 19 July, 2024 release (his second album).  First, view the following teaser to get a taste for their excellent work together….

If you enjoyed that as much as I did, you’ll want to be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Brian’s channel on YouTube… I signed up right away.

When “down & fonk-ee” is what you’re yearning for, you’ll find yourself spinning the 5:55 “Ellisin’” over & over (& OVER) again… this is perfect music for crusin’ on down the road, with Brian’s Hammond B-3 leading the fantastic contributions from Paul Bollenback on guitar, and Byron “Wookie” Landham on drums.  Truly one of the finest organ-led tunes we’ve listened to (yet) in 2024!

It only took one spin of the 6:03 “Into Somethin’” to realize that it’s absolutely my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes Brian and his bandmates offer up for us…. Paul’s guitar leads just SOAR on this, and it will be clear as you scope out Brian’s Hammond that he is definitely among the best jazz organists on the scene today.

I give Brian and his mates a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this highly desirable jazz journey.  Get more information on the Bandcamp page for the album, and pre-order it there as well.
