World-class multi-cultural jazz Russ Spiegel – Caribbean Blue

World-class multi-cultural jazz Russ Spiegel – CARIBBEAN BLUE:  The quality of music we receive here is always top-line… guitarist Russ provides world-class multi-cultural jazz that will thrill your ears (as much as they did mine)… before you read any further, I most strongly recommend that you watch and listen to one of Russ’s earlier videos…

If you visit and SUBSCRIBE to the Russ Spiegel YouTube channel, you’ll also be able to preview several tunes from the album (only available on Russ’s channel)… I subscribed right away.

In addition to Russ’s electric and acoustic guitars, you’ll also hear Jim Gasior – organ, Lucas Apostoleris – drums, with – Brian Lynch – trumpet (1, 4, 5, 8), Tim Armacost – tenor sax (1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9) & flute (2), Javier Nero – trombone (4, 5), Hendrik Meurkens – chromatic harmonica (2, 3, 6) and Ben Beal – vocals on “Inquietude”… there was no question in my mind that my choice for personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes offered up would be the 7:30 “Retribution Blues“… EXCELLENT guitar solos, super sax, great organ and all-round high talent on this fantastic bluesy piece!

This isn’t just a “jazz” album; the styles range all across the musical spectrum… I give Russ and his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Visit Russ’s Ruzztones Studios on FaceBook to get more information on this upcoming release as it becomes available (23 October, 2023).
