Precious poetry paintings Lisa Reagan – What We Need Is Here

Precious poetry paintings Lisa Reagan – WHAT WE NEED IS HERE:  Poetry and music go hand-in-hand for me, since that’s where I got my start in performance… what Lisa offers up are ten tantalizing and precious poetry paintings for us to enjoy.  The best way to experience what she’s doing for us is visually, so I strongly recommend that you watch and listen to the closer, “The Wild Geese“, first (the visuals on this are just FANTASTIC, folks)…

You’ll also be treated to some of her other works when you SUBSCRIBE to Lisa’s YouTube channel (as I did).

I’m actually quite familiar with Lisa’s work, as I reviewed her performances on “Shunia” a couple of years back, where she got a “PICK” for “most empowering album of 2020”… this release is a bit different, in that it focuses on the poetry, with elegant and powerful musical arrangements.  I fell in love right away with the 4:40 “The Road Not Taken“… the piano and strings give us both sadness and soaring joy, and Lisa’s vocal will give you hope for the future, I’ve no doubt… this is (without question) my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes offered up!

I give this album a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99… it’s a “must have” for those who find peace and joy in the weave of poetry and music.  The album releases officially on 20 October, 2023, but you can visit Lisa’s page for the album on Spotify now, linked in below…
