Eric’s flute work on the beautiful “Honesty” (samples aren’t available yet; I will come back and add them as soon as I’m told they’re available), combined with totally flawless recording and pertinent (yet somehow subdued) percussion, make this 4:39 gem a tune that will be playlisted often by DJ’s (of all stripes) around the globe!
The opening track, “Generosity”, will reach right down deep into your soul… Eric’s keyboard blends wonderfully with stunning bell sounds, percussion and bass to help us move through life with most bountiful blessings… it’s only 3:01, so it will be getting “replay” action often.
I found the 3:51 closer, “Forgiveness”, to be both full-bodied and richly rewarding… Eric’s integration of magical strings into this piece, and his exquisite sense of “pacing”, make it a tune that (completely) merits an award; I predict that it will get one!
One of my favorite instruments is electric piano/Rhodes, and Eric melds those sounds in with acoustic piano in a totally enjoyable weave on “Kindness”… his playing on this gem of a performance will inspire you to reach out to others in that spirit, I’ve no doubt.
My choice for personal favorite of the seven sultry songs offered up for our enlightenment was made by my second listen through the album… “Compassion” features Eric’s fantastic flute playing seamlessly interacting with the other instruments… the song will inspire you to practice charity in new ways with your fellow beings!
