Raw earthy guitar trio jazz Joe Wittman – Trio Works Sol

Raw earthy guitar trio jazz Joe Wittman – TRIO WORKS SOL:  We get (more than) a few albums in that feature jazz guitar, but the raw earthy guitar trio young Joe has put together for your ears is going to be a totally pleasant experience, guaranteed.  The album is slated for 1 November, 2023 release, so you won’t find samples yet, but to give you some insight into Joe’s excellent playing style, here’s a video from a live performance about five years ago…

You can enjoy several other videos when you SUBSCRIBE to Joe’s YouTube channel (some live, some tunes only), as I did.

What’s most notable about Joe’s guitar in conjunction with Daniel Duke on bass and Keith Balla doing drums is the totally fluid and personable impression they create for the listener… Joe’s been “on the scene” in NYC for over 10 years, so it’s only natural, I suppose.  I found myself absolutely intrigued by the magnificently moving “Boogie for Bloomfield” (samples will be added when I’m told that the tracks have gone live, closer to the November release date)… excellent recording and high-energy playing combine to make a most memorable jazz adventure!

I give this fine self-released album a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98.  Get more information on Joe’s website as it becomes available.
