Powerful incredible energy filled jazz Enrique Haneine – Unlayered

Powerful incredible energy filled jazz Enrique Haneine – UNLAYERED:  I first reviewed Enrique’s powerful multi-instrumental talents when I reviewed his “Instants of Time” album in mid-2017… his new offering gives us a much deeper look into the powerful incredible energy filled jazz he creates.  The players are Thomas Heberer Trumpet; Catherine Sikora Tenor & Soprano Saxophones; Christof Knoche Bass Clarinet; Jay Anderson Acoustic Bass and Enrique doing Drums, Cymbals, Udu Drum & Tambourine, Compositions… be sure to watch the trailer video first…

…though I only found the one video, I still recommend you SUBSCRIBE to Enrique’s YouTube channel… I expect you will soon find many more there (hint! hint!)

Readers who come here regularly know that I especially enjoy music penned by the players, and Enrique has only originals on this album… tunes like “Dance Of Endless Encounter” make you dig down deep, but the intense rhythms will have you up and dancing in no time… you can FEEL the beauty in this song!

I also love variety… too often, a new set of tunes tends to be all kind of “stuck” in the same groove… that’s not true at all on this unique collection… “Queen Of The Underground” will give you visions of both the Nile and the Amazon rivers… a fantastic accomplishment.

There’s a real “big band vibe” on the tune I chose (hands down) as my personal favorite of the eleven offered up… “Oust No More” won’t let your brain (or your hands or your feet) sit still… just the kind of jazz you need to fully enjoy your day – and your LIFE!

I give Enrique and all his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this exceptional album.  Get more information on Enrique’s website.                             Rotcod Zzaj
