Michael was diagnosed with COVID-19, and used his quarantine time to collaborate with Rasull (aka Blue Monk) in Malaysia – which helped him heal after his bout with the devastating virus… the new music features Michael on synthesizers, electronics & percussion and BlueMonk doing flutes, percussion & additional keyboards… your ears will be astounded as you listen to the 5:50 “Cherry Blossom Heart”… the flute is masterful, and the electronics layer in, around and through the theme… images abound for the listener!
The 4:53 opener, “The Secret Garden”, will be an “instant hit” for DJ’s (of all stripes), and I predict this tune will be getting huge amounts of airplay all across the globe… flawless recording and total creative abilities will transport you to the outer reaches of galaxies as yet unexplored.
You will get a hint of the wonderment the astronauts felt as they saw their first glimpses of “Moon Scape”, and intricate sounds will fill your heart with joy as you listen to this tune over and over again. I believe this piece will be nominated for (and WIN) awards!
After one listen through this seven-song beauty, it was easy to make my choice for personal favorite… the universally attractive sounds the duo create on “Boundless Love” make it a performance you will never forget, and will cherish for years to come; an anthem for “emergence” into the coming age of enlightenment, if you will.
