Musically adventurous new beginnings Wouter Kellerman and David Arkenstone – Pangaea

Musically adventurous new beginnings Wouter Kellerman and David Arkenstone – PANGAEA:   I’ve reviewed both of these musical giants many times before; most recently, I reviewed Wouter’s “Love Language” and David’s “Colors of the Ambient Sky“… what they’ve done with their new collaboration is to give us musically adventurous new beginnings that won’t soon be forgotten as we move forward into new vistas together.  Here’s a trailer for the new album…

You can enjoy many more performances when you SUBSCRIBE to Wouter’s YouTube channel, or SUBSCRIBE to David’s YouTube channel… I did that right away, and so should you.

The glory of “A New World” unfolds ever-so-gently in your ears as you listen to the beautiful flute and stunning percussion on this wonderful 4:19 gem… DJ’s (of all stripes) will be adding this into their playlists for constant rotations, I predict!

Ungana” does a marvelous job of bringing the power that unity can bring for us all in these troubled times… the vocal integrations on this song are pure perfection, and the recording is pure and flawless… if I were on the nominating committees for awards, this song would be in the running (and WIN) immediately.

Being a resident of the Great Northwest, I’m quite familiar with gloomy skies, but the grand feeling of “First Rain” makes you forget the overcast, and gives you insight into new awakenings that will get your soul moving joyously!

The gentle guitar opening and penetrating flute passages on “The Sun’s Reflection” evokes moving images of an earth unblemished by the pollution we see around us today, and will inspire you to value the beauty that our future together can be if we work together.

You’ll feel the power of ancient mountains moving as you listen to my choice for personal favorite of the nine musical journeys offered up, “Taranaki Rises“… the creative genius of Wouter and David collaborating together on this amazing song is well worth the price of the album… I’ll go so far as to say that this tune is the most powerful I’ve listened to (yet) in 2021!

I give Wouter and David a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information as it becomes available on Wouter’s page for the album.                             Rotcod Zzaj
