Enchanting rhythmic infectious original music David Arkenstone – Colors of the Ambient Sky

Enchanting rhythmic infectious original music David Arkenstone – COLORS OF THE AMBIENT SKY:  My attraction to David’s wonderfully enchanting and rhythmic music goes a long way back… to issue # 83, in fact… this new (July, 2018) release is (unequivocally) the best I’ve ever listened to from him!  As you’ll see when you watch the beautiful video created for the opening track, “Parallel World“, he is able to reach down to the very depths of your soul and transport you to new worlds with his music…

…an absolutely stunning view of the universal possibilities that are open to all of us… since you’re there already, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to David’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more sonic treasures!

One of the things David said in the promo sheet that was particularly striking for me… “I’d like listeners to feel as though they could be dreaming while they’re awake“… you’ll definitely get that feeling as you listen to the pulsing rhythms on “Darkness Descending“; as though you’re sitting on the shoreline of my home turf (the Puget Sound) watching daylight fade away, and beholding the glory of our star-filled nights… truly one of the most engaging pieces of music I’ve listened to (yet) in 2018.

When the “string-washes” at the 1:25 mark roll in on the 5:05 “Blue Lightning“, you’ll be absolutely blown away, finding yourself riding (much like a “Silver Surfer”) in, through and around wormholes and timeless tesseracts… if any song is worthy of an award, it is this one!

The song that (easily) won my choice for personal favorite of the nine compositions offered up, though, is the 5:30 “Visitors“… densely packed with instrumental wonderment that displays David’s skill at solo playing… music so totally unique and enchanting that it will hold you captivated over and over again… simply lovely.

I give David a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99 for this amazing aural adventure.  Get more information at David’s website.
