multi instrumental magical madness Nick Tripi – Loud World

multi instrumental magical madness Nick Tripi – LOUD WORLD:  I couldn’t believe my ears as I listened to the first few bars of the multi instrumental magical madness Nick has created for you here.  The album doesn’t release until 12 January, 2024, so there aren’t any videos yet (I’ll come back and post them as soon as Nick tells me they’re ready)… so, here’s a pic of Nick in his studio…

Nick in his studio

It should be evident to you that “everything under the sun” is used in Nick’s creations… his style ranges all the way from space lounge to krautrock to jazz-funk, and the music he creates is full of fluidity and fun – something I totally dig on, and you will, too – if it ain’t fun; it ain’t MUSIC!

The swirling ambience on the 4:24 “Turbo Lounge” will make you think you just entered a “wormhole“, and haven’t come out the other side yet; kinda’ like an intense tesseract, from here to there in only four minutes, lol.

The heavy synths and perpetual percussion on the 3:47 “Plomp” had me rockin’ and rollin’ in my chair, and reminded me (in some ways) of some of the tunes Herbie (yes, as in Hancock) used to play… a great tune!

There’s a great drone feel on the 7:22 “Glissence”… think ‘bots crawling, with no nodes left unexplored… in fact, the sense of FUN Nick conveys on this piece made it my choice for personal favorite.

Nick gets a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this decidedly different set.  You can pre-order the album, or check Nick’s Spotify page (below) for the final release on 12 January, 2023…
