Lovely emotional jazz vocals Olivia Foschi – Fleeting Windows

Lovely emotional jazz vocals Olivia Foschi – FLEETING WINDOWS: I was first exposed to & reviewed Olivia’s lovely jazz vocal work (way back) in issue # 132, where she got very high marks from me… as on that debut album, drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr., produced this sophomore effort, & it’s even more stunning than her original album.

You’ll definitely want to check out the ultra-hip EPK video Olivia and her cohorts produced for this video, which gives you some nice shots of the players as well…

…while you’re there, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Olivia’s YouTube channel, too.

The samples for the new album aren’t up yet, since it doesn’t release until the 24th of August, 2018, but I’ll come back and add them in as soon as I’m told they’ve gone hot… so you’ll have to take my word for it that her vocal intro on the 5:43 “Fire Fly” will (literally) hold you spellbound… an absolutely magical song that is among the tastiest jazz vocals I’ve listened to (yet) in 2018.

Olivia’s original, “Pitter Patter”, is lyrically excellent, but what’s SO attractive is her innate sense of what “works” in a jazz vocal… everything fits just perfectly together – seamless and stimulating!

My personal favorite of the eleven songs she offers up for your aural enjoyment, though, is the 4:43 “Dreams Come True”, another original penned by Olivia… there’s a truly ethereal feel on this beautiful tune, and will coax feelings from your heart that you don’t even remember.

I give Olivia and her excellent cast of players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99 for this extraordinary musical experience.  Get more information as it becomes available at Olivia’s website.        Rotcod Zzaj
