Happy healthy holiday cheer Bongo Boy Records – Let’s Have A Rockin’ Christmas Vol.5

Happy healthy holiday cheer Bongo Boy Records – LET’S HAVE A ROCKIN’ CHRISTMAS VOL. 5:  This great little album surely brings back mem’ries of traveling through the diners on Route 66 many moons ago on the way back to mom & pops home for Christmas… happy & healthy holiday cheer for all to enjoy… though I didn’t find live videos from this release, you’ll surely enjoy many when you SUBSCRIBE to the Bongo Boys YouTube channel (as I did).

The players get off to a rousing start on the opening title track, “Let’s Have A Rockin’ Christmas“… solid guitars and a super harp headline this jammin’ little track (2:39, so you’ll be hittin’ the replay button often)… I have no doubt that DJ’s everywhere will be spinning this one each & every day!

A much more mellow tone is established on the 5:38 “O Come Emmanuel feat. The Crystal Alchemy Singing bowls“… this tune alone makes the album well worth the purchase… in fact, it’s one of the best seasonal songs I’ve ever listened to.

The folks get right back to boogie’n on down when they perform the mighty hip “Mr Santa“… inspired vocals and some great saxophone work enhance it greatly!

Of the thirteen totally “on” tunes offered up, it was easy to make my choice for personal favorite… “Studeo” opens “I Wish It Were Christmas Tonight” with superb guitar leads, which leads to a splendid vocal that gives you a real feeling of holiday joy.

I give Bongo Boys Records and all their players on this fifth volume a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this very enjoyable album.   Get more information on the Bongo Boys page for the release.    Rotcod Zzaj
