Extraordinary explosive jazz vocals Ellen Edwards – A New York Session

Extraordinary explosive jazz vocals Ellen Edwards – A NEW YORK SESSION:  Ellen’s very extraordinary explosive jazz vocals are a brand new experience for me, and a most pleasant one it is… here’s a live clip from about 8 months ago for Ellen’s performance of “Blue and Green” (no samples available yet, as the album doesn’t release until February, 2020)…

…Ellen has lots more videos up, too, so be sure you SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube channel (as did I).

Ellen’s original vocals are strongly complimented by Randy Brecker (trumpet), Robbie Kondor (piano), Will Lee (bass), Jeff Mironov (guitar), Gene Lake (drums), Richie Morales (percussion) and Jason Miles (B3, vibes and synthesizers)… you’ll be an “instant believer” when you listen to her magnificent performance on the stirring and soulful “Let The Fire Grow”… this one will be getting HUGE airplay!

It’s really a pleasure when the singer kinda’ “chooses” your favorite for you… of the five tunes on her EP, it’s the groove on “Queens Bridge” that made it my choice… an absolutely KILLER tune.

I give Ellen and her stellar cast of players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information about this stunning jazz vocalist on Ellen’s website.            Rotcod Zzaj
