Exciting eloquently executed vocal jazz Jenny Davis – Rearranged

Exciting eloquently executed vocal jazz Jenny Davis – REARRANGED:  How absolutely sweet it is to listen to Jenny’s exciting and eloquently executed vocal jazz on her new album (it’s been a while since I reviewed her “Inside You” album, way back when)… though I didn’t find a LIVE trailer from the new release, a good video for learning just how exciting she and her players are is here…

…there are several other performances available when you SUBSCRIBE to Jenny’s YouTube channel, too… I did it right away.

As you listen to Jenny’s wonderful vocals and compositions, you’ll be thrilled with the totally professional cast of players she’s brought into the mix, as well… Jovino Santos Neto: piano; Chuck Deardorf: bass; Jeff Busch: drums; Kurt Festinger: tenor saxophone; Dimitri Matheny: flugelhorn; Mark Taylor: alto saxophone; Heather Bentley: viola/violin; and David Lange: accordion, as well as The Yeoman Warders Sax Quartet – Kate Olsen: soprano; Mark Taylor: alto; Cynthia Mullis: tenor and Jim Dejoie: baritone… you’ll hear Jenny’s extraordinary composition and vocal skills as you listen to one of my favorite jazz vocal tracks for 2020… “Come With Me” celebrates the beauty of discovery and acceptance… I have no doubt that this wonderful tune will be getting MAJOR airplay!

In Jenny’s own words, “Music is a powerful force, possessing the capacity to transform hearts, minds… and souls. With this project, I hope the collective intention will bridge gaps and change hearts”… the turbulent times we live in right now need this kind of message more than ever, and on Jenny’s “Gemini Tango“, you’ll easily experience visions of red-hot nights of Tango… a very lively sonic adventure.

Of the dozen songs offered up, it wasn’t difficult (at all) to make my choice for personal favorite… “Wise Up” is an instrumental wonder by Jenny has some amazing alto saxophone from Mark Taylor… it will get your BLOOD moving, and make you feel ALIVE!

I give Jenny and all her players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this very collectible album.  Get more information on Jenny’s page for the release.                                  Rotcod Zzaj
