Emotionally charged seasonal solace Camille Nelson – Acoustic Christmas

Emotionally charged seasonal solace Camille Nelson – ACOUSTIC CHRISTMAS:  I was both pleased and amazed (back in 2017) when I reviewed Camille’s “Lead Me Home” album; she got very high marks.  She’s back again with one of the most emotionally charged seasonal albums you will ever listen to.  To realize why I say that, I strongly suggest you watch her wonderful video and performance on “Little Drummer Boy“…

…if you enjoyed that one, be sure you SUBSCRIBE to Camille’s YouTube channel, where you’ll be able to enjoy many more.

Camille’s full and bold guitar style is absolutely evident on the wonderful opener, the traditional “O Come, All Ye Faithful“… I can guarantee you that you’ve never listened to a more vibrant performance of this song… I predict that DJ’s around the globe will be playlisting this often during the Christmas holidays!

Camille’s moving guitar and vocals are joined by Yahosh Bonner – Vocals (Little Drummer Boy); Kimberly Knighton, Britney Holman & Cardin
Mckinney – Vocals (Still, Still, Still); Kimberly Knighton & Britney Holman – Vocals (More Holiness Give Me) and Marj Desius – Vocals (All Creatures of Our God and King)… one of the tunes that brought many memories of the Holy season back for me is the 4:48 “Still, Still, Still“… what makes this performance so magical is the exquisite pacing… no rush, no hesitation, just pure as the driven snow feeling… I loved this piece.

I grew up in a parsonage (over 60 years ago), and often strayed away from the teachings I learned during those years… Camille’s beautiful interpretation of “More Holiness Give Me“, by Phillip Bliss, brought more than one trickling tear to my eye… if we would all reach back to tender moments like this song creates, we wouldn’t be experiencing near the amount of trial and tribulation we are in these years!

I give Camille and all her artists a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this most satisfying journey through the Christmas season.   Get more information at the Camille’s website.         Rotcod Zzaj
