Gut rawkin’ gospel trio Sons of Jersey – Don’t You Let Nobody Turn You Round single review

Gut rawkin’ gospel trio Sons of Jersey – DON’T YOU LET NOBODY TURN YOU ROUND:  If you’re suffering from the “post-election blues“, with lies spreading like butter on toast, you NEED this gut rawkin’ gospel tune to ease on down the road, folks… the Sons of Jersey is Chip Mergott: guitar and vocals; Alan LeBoeuf: bass and vocals and Jim Flynn: drums, vocals, engineering, and folks, these gents know how to TELL the STORY!

Every single note inspires you to get out and fight the power (as the Isley Brothers used to say)… & of course, nothing could be more timely… the tune was chosen to remind people how important it is to get out and VOTE.

The trio is super-tight, and Chip’s guitar just SMOKES on this track… I have absolutely no doubt that rockin’ DJ’s all over the globe will be choosing this for constant play on their shows… it’s just KILLER rock & soul!

I looked all over the Bongo Boy TV YouTube channel, and didn’t find a live video of this trio… it would be great to see them there.  My label contact tells me there will be many more coming from this great band.

I give Sons of Jersey a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this righteous rocker.  Get more information on the Bongo Boy Records page for the band.                                            Rotcod Zzaj
