deeply moving electronic mastery Hollan Holmes – Sacred Places

deeply moving electronic mastery Hollan Holmes – SACRED PLACES:  Every once in a while, and album merits more than “just a few words“… you’ll find out why I was so impressed with the deeply moving electronic mastery that Hollan creates when you check out this album… but first, watch this insightful interview with him from 2024 (just after the release date of January 12th, 2024)…

…then be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Hollan’s YouTube channel (I signed up instantly), where you can enjoy many more exciting performances.

I found the 7:20 “Temples of Stones” to be among the most enjoyable ambient music creations I’ve ever listened to (and have no doubt that you will, too)… totally immersive, full-bodied and superb movements!

As soon as I heard the first couple measures of the 6:38 “The Divine Connection“, there was no doubt in my mind that it would be my choice for personal favorite of the eleven exciting sonic excursions Hollan offers up on the album… a “slow-build” leads into rich, dense layers of rhythm and beauty.  Absolutely the best tune from my perspective.

This is an album you will want in your collection, to be sure… I give Hollan a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00… meaning that he also gets a “PICK” from me for “best ambient electronic album).  Check it  out on Hollan’s Bandcamp page for the release.
