daring imaginative jazz beauty Scott Petito – Many Worlds

daring imaginative jazz beauty Scott Petito – MANY WORLDS:  Bassist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Scott and his (many) bandmates give you some of the most daring imaginative jazz you’ll ever hear on this stellar release from February, 2023.  Here’s a visually enhanced version of “The Alchemist” to give you an idea of the universal appeal Scott’s creations offer…

You’ll also find other videos to enjoy when you SUBSCRIBE to Scott’s YouTube channel (as I did – right away).

I found the 7:07 “Bombogenesis” the most appealing to these ol’ ears… Scott’s bass is superb, and Bob Mintzer’s soprano sax will simply blow you away… this tune is (definitely) my personal favorite of the eight jazz adventures offered up!

The player list is far too long to itemize here, but you can view it on the BandCamp page… the 5:30 “Close To Home” is certainly one of the most mellow tunes I’ve listened to (yet) in 2023… beautiful keyboards from Rachel Z. Hakim and Mike Mainieri’s vibraphone magic will hold you totally spellbound.  I give this marvelous album a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.
