Amazing ambient electronic adventures Harlan Mark Vale – Transcribing The Sacred Experience

This entry is part 2 of 3 in the series The Three Hares Trilogy

Amazing ambient electronic adventures Harlan Mark Vale – TRANSCRIBING THE SACRED EXPERIENCE:  This is Mark’s second album in a trilogy called “The Three Hares Trilogy”, and is on a totally different path from his “Sonication” (the first release of the trilogy).  You’ll find your spirit totally immersed in the amazing ambient electronic adventures he creates on this splendid release.

Having played with Mark on many varied musical palettes, I know that his work is always about creating music that is diverse and inspiring… as you listen to the intriguing “Kumoi Hirajoshi“, you will realize that you’re in the presence of a musical master… deeply moving, full of swirling synth sounds, this song takes you deep inside your essence!

The title track, “Transcribing The Sacred Experience“, features choir-like sequences that amplify the power of infinity, and wrap your soul in the textures of tantalizing tesseracts… since it only clocks in at 4:03, I predict that this sonic wonder will be getting HUGE amounts of airplay around the globe.

The ingenious “God As Time” incorporates subtle percussion and timing that will help you better understand that not only is there a “higher power” in the Universe, but that it includes YOU as a part of it… a truly marvelous exploration into the outer edges of being!

I’ve said (ever since I met him in the early 1980’s) that Mark is a masterful musical creator, but nowhere will you find that to be revealed more clearly than in my personal favorite of the ten (long) compositions on this album… “Cloud Exposure” uses totally “on-time” percussion to move you through the 7:02 length of the song… you’ll find your ears coming back to this wonderful performance often.

I give Mark a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99… get more information, and purchase the album direct from the artist on Mark’s BandCamp page for the album.            Rotcod Zzaj
