wonderfully unique original jazz Bill Anschell – Improbable Solutions

wonderfully unique original jazz Bill Anschell – IMPROBABLE SOLUTIONS:  You only have 6 more days before the 19 January, 2024 official release of one of the most wonderfully unique original jazz albums you will ever listen to on our favorite jazz label, Origin Records.  I’ve been reviewing Bill’s music for many years; check out my review of “A Different Note All Together” There are no trailers available for songs from the album (yet), but to get an up close and personal look at Bill’s style, I recommend that you first watch this video from a recent live studio performance (different players than on the new album)…

You’ll also find MANY other live performances when you SUBSCRIBE to Bill’s YouTube channel… it’s worth your time, to be sure… you’re gonna’ love it.

On the new album, you will be treated to 9 original songs from Bill, featuring Bill Anschell – piano, electronics; Chris Symer – acoustic bass, electric bass (5,9); Jose Martinez – drums; Brian Monroney – guitar (1,3,4,6,9); Jeff Busch – percussion (2,4,8) and KJ Sawka – drums (9)… on songs like the amazing “Is This Thing Even On“, you’ll hear brand new dimensions in Bill’s performance… I absolutely LOVED this tune, and have no doubt you will, too!

After my first listen through the album, I kept coming back to the stunning closer, “Outburst“, listening to it over and over (and OVER) again… it’s the most refreshing music I’ve ever heard Bill play, and is DEFINITELY my choice for personal favorite of the nine tunes offered up for this jazz adventure.

Bill and all his players get a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Keep your eyes and ears on Bill’s Spotify channel (below) for the release, or visit his website to hear the music.
