Totally unique musical adventure Dave Soldier – Zajal

Totally unique musical adventure Dave Soldier – ZAJAL:  I will tell you right now that you haven’t heard such totally unique musical adventure as you’ll find on this album… the video below for the song “Don’t Bite Me Baby” will give you a clear insight into Dave’s diverse musical palette…

Dave assembled a whole HOST of players for this, far too long to list here, so check the player list out at the Mulatta Records page for the album… songs like “Without Myself” will thrill listeners who love bass and guitar beauty… the song features Farsi lyrics, and will take you to the outer edges of your listening experience!

The Hebrew lyrics on “Beautiful Boy” may be strange to your ears, but by the end of this 5:18 gem, you’ll be just as enthralled as I was… it has more of a “world music” flavor, but is still (quite) loose enough to meld into the jazz arena.

The guitars on my personal favorite of the eleven songs offered up is (without question) the 5:38 “Water and Fire“… it’s an amazing musical experience that is totally unlike anything you’ve listened to – ever!

I give Dave and his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this most interesting sonic adventure.  Get more information on the Mulatta Records page for the release.               Rotcod Zzaj
