sweet soulful jazz guitar Ronny Smith – Struttin

sweet soulful jazz guitar Ronny Smith – STRUTTIN:  If you’re looking for something to lift your spirits into the stratosphere, the sweet soulful jazz guitar of Ronny Smith will do just that for you… it doesn’t release officially until 19 April, 2024, so you won’t find videos of it yet, but here’s one that will make you fall in love with Ronny’s playing immediately…

If that turned your ears on as much as it did for me, you’ll want to SUBSCRIBE to Ronny’s YouTube channel, I guarantee you.

He has a whole host of high-talent players that will hold you totally intrigued (Arcangelo Trabucco – piano, Bejamin Berreiro – sax, Alex Bone – sax,
Snake Davis – tenor sax, James White – sax, Beto Braga – sax, Charles Chazzy Green – flutes, Fabian Silva – trumpet, Alejandra Gomez – trumpet, Guile Olivera – trombone, Jose Juvinao – bass, Zoltan Renaldi – bass, Ibukun Onapajo – soprano vocals, Damilola Adika – alto vocals, Kelechi Kanu – tenor vocals, Habbert Cheeks – drums, Ben Pham – drums, Phil Beale – drums and Juan Guillermo Aguilar – drums/percussion)… tunes like the 4:36 “Rubik’s Cube” will have you slippin’ and slidin’ all around your living room – no kidding… this is one of the best “groove” songs I’ve listened to (yet) in 2024!

It was the combination of underlying funk and oh-so-smooth rhythms on the 4:17 “Pocket Algorhythm” that made it easy to select as my choice for personal favorite of the ten totally tantalizing performances Ronny and his folks offer up for us… the music hearkens back to an era where the WORLD was a groovy place to be.

I give Ronny and all his folks a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this excellent jazz experience.  You can pre-order this on Ronny’s stream & download page.
