Rebecca’s performance on “Santa Baby“, originally recorded by Eartha Kitt, features top-notch players… Dennis Angel – Flugelhorn; Jason Miles – Electric Piano, Hammond B3; Jonah Prendergast – guitar; Reggie Washington – bass and Brian Dunne – drums all complement Rebecca’s sweet singing on this great seasonal tune!
Reggie’s bass intro segues ever-so-nicely into a relaxing performance from all the players… Jason’s keyboards are subtle, but substantial, and you’ll fall in love (immediately) with Rebecca’s vocal style… I can almost hear strains of Rickie Lee Jones in there.
