Amazing freeflow piano performances Silvard – MOMENT FOR YOURSELF: Silvard’s piano is magical on his collection of twelve amazing freeflow piano performances… though I didn’t see any LIVE performances, if you SUBSCRIBE to his Silvard topic channel, you can witness many other sessions from him (it would be nice to see a few live performances added on future releases).
Silvard says that he’s at his best when he just “focuses, gets into the “flow” and plays what he feels coming through”… one of the best examples of how well that freeflow concept works on the new release is the 3:22 “Waltz of Celebration“… you can feel the joy coming right through his fingers… I love his straightforward playing style… I can (easily) see this tune getting some MAJOR airplay on all types of stations ’round the globe!
The marvelous overtones in the higher registers that Silvard achieves on the 3:11 “Focus” will have you listening to this piece over and over again… both the recording and the “pacing” on this tune are excellent.
When not recording and playing, Silvard is also a Marine Biologist, which may have something to do with his brilliant performance on the highly emotional “Just Breathe“; he’s truly able to bring the beauty of nature to your ears through his playing. I found this to be one of the most engaging solo piano pieces I’ve listened to (yet) in 2019!
Of the dozen freeflows offered up for our aural enjoyment, I found the 4:49 “Joyful Memories” to be my choice for personal favorite… the tune resonates with hope for a future enlightened by the past, and will keep your ears at full attention… if I were on the nominating committees, this song would certainly be considered for (and WIN) an award.
