Spiritually inspiring piano beauty Monica Logani – The Long Road

Spiritually inspiring piano beauty Monica Logani – THE LONG ROAD:  You won’t find samples of this upcoming CD from Monica available yet, as it doesn’t release until March, 2020 (I’ll come back and add the links in as soon as I’m told it’s gone live)… so you’ll just have to take my word for it that her spiritually inspiring piano beauty with Gregg Zubowicz – Guitar; Maria Grigoryeva – Violin; Ekaterina Gaydareva – Viola and Lyudmila Kadyrbaeva – Cello is top-of-the-line.  When I reviewed her “Secret Garden” CD sometime back, she got high marks – and the new release is even better.

Though there weren’t any LIVE videos, you should still SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube channel… I’m hoping she will post some live recordings there soon.

The strings that meld into “Juliette” against Monica’s keyboard make it one of the most inspiring, and will bring back memories both sweet and poignant; I believe this song will be getting some MAJOR airplay on stations around the globe!

The notes on the promo sheet I received say that Monica’s new album is “a spiritual narrative about life and loss”, and nowhere was that more evident for me than on the 3:20 “Mantra”… what truly makes Monica’s piano stand out is her perfect “pacing”… there is no rushing, and the recording is absolutely flawless… if I were on the voting panels, this song would definitely be considered for (and WIN) an award.

There is real depth on songs like “Space”, and the supporting instruments will hold your ears spellbound… I just LOVED this piece!

It’s the longest composition on the album that got my choice for personal favorite of the fifteen pleasurable pieces offered up for your contemplation… “Devotion” uses the lower registers and Monica’s firm touch to give you an insight to commitment and love.

I give Monica and her players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this excellent musical journey.  Get more information on Monica’s newly updated website.   Rotcod Zzaj
