Soulfully expressed piano and accordion jazz Ben Rosenblum – Kites and Strings

Soulfully expressed piano and accordion jazz Ben Rosenblum – KITES AND STRINGS:  I can safely say that you have never heard a jazz album that so successfully incorporates two diverse instruments as Ben’s soulfully expressed piano and accordion jazz… an added benefit is that you can watch the entire album being performed…

…since gigs are far and few between in our current environment, I would ask that you support Ben and his players by using the links embedded under this live video to support them… also, be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Ben’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find many more exciting performances.

A composition from Ben that I found particularly intriguing is the 4:16 “Fight Or Flight“… a truly rousing piece that DJ’s are going to put on their playlists right away, I expect… some GREAT guitar work on this one, too!

Ben’s high-energy, high-talent piano and accordion are supported in stellar fashion by Wayne Tucker on trumpet, Jasper Dutz on tenor sax and bass clarinet, Rafael Rosa on guitar, Marty Jaffe on bass, Ben Zweig on drums, Jake Chapman on vibraphone, Sam Chess on trombone and Jeremy Corren guest appearing on piano… I can guarantee you’ll have a smile on your face as you listen to “Laughing On The Inside“… it certainly made me grin (and bop heartily).

Ben’s original, “Halfway To Wonderland“, is absolutely solid jazz, which made me choose it as my personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes he offers up for our jazz adventure… this tune also made me choose if for permanent placement on my iPhone player (something that only happens with the very BEST jazz)!

I give Ben and his excellent players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information on Ben’s page for the release.                                  Rotcod Zzaj
