One of the most striking songs on the new release is simply titled “Path“… it’s clear that Anaya was inspired when she created and performed this 4:07 beauty… I have no doubt that DJ’s (particularly those who love New Age music) will be spinning this tune over and over again!
The strings on the opening track, “Birth“, will give you a sense of beginning – as the title would lead you to believe… I would definitely advise listening to this full-bodied creation with your headphones on, so you can catch every little nuance of her playing… a truly inspiring tune.
“Sun” is a much shorter composition, clocking in at only 2:43, but Anaya shows her true talent on this piece… I have no doubt that this song will be nominated for (and WIN) an award!
In the troubled times we live in, there is a real need for artistry that takes the listener above the fray… that helps them rise up to their full potential, and “Transcendence” does a wonderful job of that… there is nothing “complicated” here, but Anaya’s pacing and sensitivity make this a song that you will continually come back to… it is, without question, my personal favorite of the nine offered up for our enjoyment and solace.
