Sensationally satisfying show songs Moka Efti Orchestra – Erstausgabe

Sensationally satisfying show songs Moka Efti Orchestra – ERSTAUSGABE:  The fantastic energies generated by this internationally acclaimed group of players provides some of the most sensationally satisfying show songs you’ll ever hear… to get a more intimate look into their wizardry, watch their spirited performance of “Wannsee Weise”  first, please…

You’ll find a wealth of performances when you SUBSCRIBE to the Moka Efti Orchestra YouTube channel… so, do it, just like I did.

Nikko Weidemann, the show music supervisor put this together after the success of the Netflix series Babylon Berlin… I can guarantee you have never heard show music with such volcanic energy… that’s especially evident on tunes like the opener, “Hollaender Mash Up“… & I say that as a veteran of many show nights in Frankfurt (back in the day)… absolute FUN, folks!

It’s not all just rousing & rip-roaring, either… the 5:22 “Crocodile Blues” digs right on down to the roots of the Mississippi delta… it’s a pure gem, with a different take on those ol’ blues than you’ve ever listened to.

After listening through the thirteen-song opus twice, I had (absolutely) no doubt that my choice for personal favorite would be the amazing “Rainbow“… for some reason, it brought back memories of some of Mose Allison’s performances… this song alone makes the album worth purchasing!

I give Moka Efti Orchestra a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00… meaning it also gets a “PICK” from me for “best show album of 2021”.  Learn more about this amazingly talented orchestra on their Facebook page.                                 Rotcod Zzaj
