Scorching Stones tribute Gar Francis – I Wanna Be A Rolling Stone single review

Scorching Stones tribute Gar Francis – I WANNA BE A ROLLING STONE:  When it comes to movers & shakers, our friends at Bongo Boy Records definitely know how to pick the winners… Monique Grimme took the cover photo for this scorching Stones tribute by hard-rockin’ vocalist and guitarist Gar Francis, and it makes him look exactly like the ages-old Keith, lol!

The single is titled “I Wanna Be A Rolling Stone“, and I can tell you right now that you won’t be able to put the song down, folks… you’ll be hitting “replay” over & over (& over) again… Gar’s vocal & guitar are joined by Dan Caruso on bass; Kurt Reil doing drums; Arne Wendt playing piano and organ and featuring Genya Ravan on background vocals… for Boomers (like me), this will carry you all the way back to the days when you got up, put your scooter bootz on every morning & went out to conquer the world on your Harley.  I predict that radio stations all across the globe will be putting this tune into constant rotation!

Gar’s name might not be rollin’ off the tip of your tongue, but he’s been jammin’ out that good ol’ R&R for decades now… heck, he’s even got his own Wiki page, & I most strongly recommend that you check that out to learn more about him.

You’ll find the song lyrics, links to the single and much much more on the Bongo Boy Records website for Gar.  I give Gar and his high-energy, high-talent players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98.    Rotcod Zzaj
