Pertinent passionate soul stirring beauty Sangeeta Kaur – Compassion

Pertinent passionate soul stirring beauty Sangeeta Kaur – COMPASSION:  When I reviewed Sangeeta’s “Mirrors” album last year, I was convinced it was her best work – and it was, until this new album hit my inbox… her highly pertinent, passionate and soul stirring performances will (easily) make you realize that certain types of music are truly INSPIRED… just listen to the opener (samples go live on August 2nd, 2019), “Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha” (I prostrate to the Liberator, Mother of all the Victorious Ones), and you’ll be a believer… the angelic choirs she has behind her lead vocal are (quite simply) fantastic!

Though I didn’t see any “live” videos for this release (yet), you should be sure to SUBSCRIBE to her YouTube channel – you’ll find many more excellent performances there.  The new album features collaborations with the Hungarian Studio Orchestra, Hungarian Studio Choir, and a Los Angeles-based choir, The Sterling Ensemble, as well as players like composer and producer, Nicolas Neidhardt on piano and keyboard, with Duy Tran and Danaë Vlasse gift their talents in choral writing… as you listen to the beauty they create on “Transcendence“, you will realize that you are in the presence of musical angels here on earth… as Sangeeta says (in her own words) of her music – “I want these songs to help inspire the journey that redefines the concept of reflection and how we see ourselves.

One of the shorter performances (3:15), “We Are One“, starts off slowly, but rapidly evolves into one of the most powerful vocal realizations I have ever listened to… I have no doubt that this piece will be considered for (and WIN) an award… your spirit will soar to new heights as you listen to it (over and over again)!

The piano intro for “May the Long Time Sun” is perfect as it blends into Sangeeta’s beautiful vocal… when the strings enter (at about the :57 second mark), there is a full-tilt build to musical ecstasy for the listener… I predict a LOT of airplay for this splendid song.

The performance that won my vote for personal favorite is the haunting “Om Vajra Sattva Hum” (no direct translation available, but a mantra for purification)… when the percussion and choir sounds meld in at the 3:55 mark, you are transported out of your everyday reality and just soar to new realizations… be sure you listen to this one (and all the other tunes, for that matter) with your headphones on!

I give Sangeeta and her fellow players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00 – this means that she also gets a “PICK” from me for “most soul stirring performances”.  Get more information at the Sangeeta Kaur website.             Rotcod Zzaj
