Miami’s finest jazz Chuck Bergeron – Cheap Thrills The Music of Rick Margitza

Miami’s finest jazz Chuck Bergeron – CHEAP THRILLS THE MUSIC OF RICK MARGITZA:  There is nothing more stimulating than original jazz for this writer/listener, and Chuck Bergeron’s South Florida Jazz Orchestra (SFJO) presents Miami’s finest jazz on this new and exciting album.  I didn’t see any LIVE videos on the SFJO Topic channel (maybe next time, Chuck, eh?), but the entire album is available for you to enjoy there…

High-movement songs like “Brace Yourself“, a peppy original from saxophone player Rick, will be a favorite of jazz DJ’s around the globe, I’ve no doubt… you can look forward to hearing this often on your local jazz station!

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more introspective, you’ll find the ultra-cool “Premonition“… it takes you all the way down the winding road that ends in jazz heaven for any truly dedicated jazz listener… this tantalizing tune is already spinning over & over again on my player.

I just can’t express with words how stunning the opening title track, “Cheap Thrills” (another Margitza original), is… every single note will help you transcend our turbulent times with a hipper, cooler vision of how great our world can be!

I give Chuck and all the players (visit here for the player list) a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this superbly crafted and executed jazz adventure.   Get more information on the Summit Records page for the album.                                                        Rotcod Zzaj
