Jackie Allen sultry smoky satisfying jazz vocals Jackie Allen – Rose Fingered Dawn

Jackie Allen sultry smoky satisfying jazz vocals Jackie Allen – ROSE FINGERED DAWN:  When you look at the album cover, you will actually get a preview of the wonderful vistas Jackie’s jazz vocals will transport you to… she’s joined by her musical (and marriage) partner, bassist extraordinaire Hans Sturm (who also penned all ten of the original songs on the release), and they are amazing… just listen to one of my favorite new tunes of all time, appropriately titled “Time“… another thing I truly love about the music they’ve produced is that it isn’t “stuck” in some easy-to-label “genre”, and this tune clearly demonstrates just how versatile these folks are… an absolutely KILLER tune that easily earned a PERMANENT slot on my iPhone player list (and that’s saying something, folks, because vocals seldom make it on that playlist)!

To get the real scoop on this exciting release (in Jackie’s own words), as well as the player list & all the other things that are important about her album, please view the video below…

As you saw and heard, she uses her most notable vocal skills and spoken-word talents, as well as Hans’s high-energy creativity, to provide one of the best albums you will ever hear… my personal favorite of the ten compositions is the title track, “Rose Fingered Dawn“, and you’ll hear why as you listen to the sample (these sample/tunes probably won’t be “clickable” until tomorrow, October 6th, as that’s the official release date)… I give Jackie a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, as well as a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00 – which means that she also gets my “PICK” for “most diverse jazz vocal album”.  Get more information about Jackie and her projects on the Jackie Allen website.         Rotcod Zzaj
