Cutting edge J.O.Y Alliance Eric Wallack and Rotcod Zzaj – Infinite Jubilation

J.O.Y Alliance Eric Wallack and Rotcod Zzaj – INFINITE JUBILATION:  In the days of yore, your editor was also a “player“… insatiable, always looking for new cutting edge contacts… I can’t remember when I’ve had a more pleasurable playing experience than when I met (through the postal service) guitarist and Chapman stick artist Eric and we put this together in the matter of a month…

In his review of the music, my friend Kluane Takhini said:  “Wow! What a surprise was this album. Been listening 2nd time around… a wonderful mix of rhythmic, contemporary jazz with a tinge of rock. The playing of Eric & ‘Rotcod’ just seems to be totally in synch spiritually. Really great (and accurate) review by ‘Taped Crusaders’. Loved the percussive drive of ‘Star Dusted’. I’m a sucker for a good melody and really liked ‘Satellites’. Wonderful, innovative guitar improv on ‘Taurus’. ‘We are Not Alone’ reminds me of something Rick Wakeman might have done. Great groove and ending choice with ‘Pleiades’… leaves you wanting more of it! A JOY to listen to this album – music from the heart with no pretense.”  And that’s from an artist who knows what he’s talking about.

I sincerely hope you will visit the BandCamp site, listen and then purchase the album (and, of course, spread the word to your friends). The very BEST way to help us is to click the FOLLOW button below – like, NOW, okay, lol?
