Invigorating young jazz singer Anais Reno – Lovesome Thing

Invigorating young jazz singer Anais Reno – LOVESOME THING:  There’s no doubt that jazz fans are always looking for fresh talent, and I have (absolutely) no doubt that you will find invigorating young jazz singer Anais Reno one of those talents that will carry her generation forward… just watch her short clip of her performance on Duke’s “I Ain’t Got Nothing But The Blues“, and you’ll be an instant fan (just like I am)…

Absolutely amazing talent, especially for a 17-year-old… you can catch many more of her stellar performances when you SUBSCRIBE to Anais’s YouTube channel.

You’ll know you’re in the presence of pure young vocal genius when you hear her sing Strayhorn’s “Lush Life“… I can honestly say that this is the most emotion-filled performance of this song I have ever heard!

Things are a lot livelier on the opener, Ellington’s “Caravan“… the instruments start off in “subtle” mode, but at the 1:13 mark, the pace picks up, and you’ll find yourself dancin’ ’round your living room… DJ’s are gonna’ LOVE this performance, too.

It turned out to be another tune from Duke that was my choice for personal favorite… Anais makes “I’m Just a Lucky So and So” her very own… an absolute “smash hit” for this reviewer!

I give Anais and her ultra-talented players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this very collectible album.  Get more information on The Musical Theater Project page for the release.    Rotcod Zzaj
