Delicately heartfelt musical magic Louis Anthony deLise – A Gift of Moments

Delicately heartfelt musical magic Louis Anthony deLise – A GIFT OF MOMENTS:  There’s an emotional undercurrent that runs deeply through every musical performance I’ve ever heard Doctor deLise do… strong enough to earn a “PICK” from me for “most reflective and powerful album” when I reviewed his amazing “Natural Light” album… in April of 2021, he is releasing another album featuring his delicately heartfelt musical magic, and I can tell you after listening through it multiple times that it’s the best work I’ve heard from him yet!

Louis’s piano and percussion are joined by beautiful flute from John McMurtery and
captivating cello from Vivian Barton Dozor as well as Igor Szwec and Gregory Teperman on violins; Ellen Trainer doing viola; Natasha Jaffe on cello; Elizabeth de Lise playing acoustic guitar and Christine Hansen’s flute… the love-inspiring beauty on the full-bodied “The Heart of an Angel” will move you to visions of brighter days (and months & years) ahead – something we all need in these oh-so-troubled times!

The sensuous swirls, palpable percussion and crystal-clear keyboards on the closer, “At The End of the Tunnel” are simple, yet marvelous… creativity unbounded, Louis’s sensitivity gives you a sense of hope, and helps you to treasure the love you have all around you.

I got a real sense of nostalgia for lost loves as I listened to “Always In My Heart“… as Louis says (in his own words), the songs on this sweet album are “about love: of a mate, of family, our way of life, and those beliefs we consider particular to us“… he creates marvelous overtones on this performance!

It was one of the shorter tunes, the 3:31 “Ripples On The Pond“, that won my vote for personal favorite of the ten tantalizing sonic journeys Louis take you through… flawless recording and ultra-sensitive playing reveal the innermost feelings of this master of the creative arts.

I give Louis and all his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this stirring tribute to the gifts we all receive as we travel this plane.  Get more information on Louis’s website as it becomes available.                                                Rotcod Zzaj
