Hip high talent jazz vocals Tanya Dennis – White Sails Blue Skies

Hip high talent jazz vocals Tanya Dennis – WHITE SAILS BLUE SKIES:  Tanya’s new CD shows clearly that she isn’t just a totally hip high talent jazz vocalist, she’s also a multi-instrumentalist (violin and guitar) who stands out above the rest… to get an up-close look at her svelte jazz vocal style, first watch this video of “Where You Are“…

You won’t find a lot of videos there yet, but I definitely recommend that you SUBSCRIBE to Tanya’s YouTube channel, where I expect many more performances will be posted in the coming months.

The player list is too long to itemize here, so check it out on YouTube… this album is a tribute to Toots Thielemans, and features Hendrik Meurkens beautiful harmonica on songs like “The World Can Do Without Us Today“… a sweet, sweet song that jazz DJ’s everywhere will be plugging right on into their playlists for regular rotations!

You’ll clearly see the light and dark moon-shadows that inspired Tanya to write the opener, “Chiaroscura“… a superb balance between the guitars, piano and vocals makes this song a (long-term) winner, to be sure.

Tanya is an avid sailor, and on my choice for personal favorite of the nine wonderful songs she offers up for our jazz listening pleasure, “White Sails“, you’ll experience the gently wafting breezes pushing you through the sea… Tanya’s vocal just brings it to LIFE!

I give Tanya a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98… get more information on Tanya’s website.                       Rotcod Zzaj
