Exquisitely inventive jazz Dillon Vado – Blissonance

Exquisitely inventive jazz Dillon Vado – BLISSONANCE:   Young drummer/vibraphonist Dillon and his high-talent quintet Never Weather will MAKE your DAY if you’re a jazz lover… you’ll see just how LIVELY they are on this promo video for the new album…

…there are a ton of videos available when you SUBSCRIBE to Dillon’s YouTube channel (which I did immediately).

In addition to Dillon’s spirited playing, you’ll also hear trumpeter Josh Reed, alto saxophonist Aaron Wolf, guitarist Justin Rock, and bassist Tyler Harlow… on tunes like the mighty mellow “Medium“, you’ll feel just how laid-back jazz can be… I expect jazz DJ’s around the globe will be spinning this song over & over again!

The totally solid opener, “Never Catch Up“, is as full of life as a jazz tune ever gets… five minutes & eleven seconds of the kind of creativity all true lovers of jazz just NEED to have on an everyday basis.

Listeners who crave players with real attention to detail are going to find the swirling high-energy playing on “Morbique” very much to their liking… be SURE to listen to this tune with your headphones on, so you can catch every enchanting nuance!

Of the dozen tracks offered up for our jazz joy, my choice for personal favorite is Justin’s original “There Is No Secret“… the players are totally engaged in the tune, which will bring hope for a better future to all of us.

I give Dillon and his high-talent players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this superb debut.  Get more information on Dillon’s website.                     Rotcod Zzaj
