One of the most beautiful compositions I’ve ever heard is the 6:42 “Apollo Awakens“; as you listen to this, you’ll find yourself with visions of being Apollo, the Greek and Roman god of sunlight, prophecy, music, and poetry! I am absolutely certain that this song will be receiving a LOT of airplay on stations around the globe!
The harp-like sounds on the intro to “Aegean Reflections” will open your mind and heart to the beauty that is always around us, and lift your spirits to new heights… if any song merits an award – it is this one; if I were on the nominating committees, it would certainly be nominated.
Rusty is different from many of the artists who release music inspired by places and people… why do I say that? Because he has actually traveled to many of those locations… you’ll sense his familiarity as you listen to the beautiful “Castalian Breeze“… I fell in love with this performance immediately!
The integration of nature sounds and full-bodied strings on “Center of the World” made it my choice for personal favorite of the ten totally engaging songs Rusty offers up for our musical journey… this is another song that I predict will be nominated for (and WIN) awards.
