Downright funky edumacated jazz Purdie Fabian Oswanski – Move On!

Downright funky edumacated jazz Purdie Fabian Oswanski – MOVE ON!:   These cats have GOT IT DOWN; you’ll hear drummer Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, electric bass from Christian Fabian and superb Hammond B3 by Ron Oswanski on this downright funky edumacated jazz set… better yet, WATCH them perform “BPP Blues” (a tune from the album) live…

…this tune MOVES your soul, & your feet will be just itchin’ to get out on the floor… be sure to SUBSCRIBE to Bernard’s YouTube topic channel, too, where you can hear the entire album.

Christian’s bass is right out in front of “Got Groove“… I fully expect you’ll hear this one frequently on jazz DJ playlists over the coming months… the trio work SO WELL together, with every note & every riff right on TIME!

The title track, “Move On!“, emphasizes Bernard’s drums on the intro, then segues into one of the coolest tunes I’ve listened to (yet) in 2020… you’ll be playing this one over & over again.

I can tell you (with absolute certainty) that you’ve never heard a more entertaining version of the opener, “The Battle Hymn of the Republic“, than this stellar trio performs… each player gets their chance to shine brilliantly…

There’s an “alleycat” feel to “84-85” that made it easy to choose as my personal favorite of the nine colossal jams offered up… this one (easily) made it on my iPhone, an honor reserved for only the best tunes!

I give this excellent trio a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this superb sonic journey.  Get more information at Christian’s website.           Rotcod Zzaj
