Uniquely satisfying musical conversations Kane Mathis – Geminus

Uniquely satisfying musical conversations Kane Mathis – GEMINUS:  This album was absolute perfection for a Sunday wake-up call in my Pacific Northwest listening studio… as you watch the video from the opening track on the album, you’ll feel the magic of uniquely satisfying uniquely satisfying musical conversations…

You’ll find a LOT more of Kane’s inspiring performances when you SUBSCRIBE to the Kane Mathis YouTube channel – I highly recommend it.

Kane has studied the Kora and Oud for over 20 years, and his addition of John Hadfield on percussion and Sam Minaie doing bass make tunes like “Kürdi 7 And 9” come alive in your ears… they certainly capture the positive vibrations of the universe on this energetic performance!

The beautiful intro to the 5:38 “Kaira” is soon joined by magical percussive interplay between John and Sam that totally enhances this original composition (in fact, all the songs on the album are originals).  If your spirit ever feels like dancing, this is exactly what it would want to be listening to.

After my second listen through the entire 52+ minutes, my choice for personal favorite of the ten tantalizing tunes was easy to make… “Gemini” captures the intuitive energy of all three players perfectly, and gives the listener a real sense of hope for a fabulous future!

I give Kane and his musical cohorts a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this deliciously dynamic musical adventure.  Get more information on Kane’s music page.                       Rotcod Zzaj
