Super sophisticated modern jazz Eric Lilley Trio – Follow Up

Super sophisticated modern jazz Eric Lilley Trio – FOLLOW UP:  You’ll find few jazz trios with the abilities pianist Eric has put together for you.. he’s a seasoned veteran in the Denver area, and an extremely talented player… here’s a solo clip from his personal YouTube channel that will hip you to his super sophisticated modern jazz…

…there weren’t any LIVE videos on the Eric Lilley Trio – Topic channel, but you can listen to the entire “Follow Up” album there.

In addition to Eric’s excellent piano, you will also hear Mark Diamond: bass; Dru Heller: drums and Jose Espino: percussion… on the very “radio-able” “The Hollow Way“, they really “rock out” the jazz… DJ’s will declare this one an “instant hit“, and will be plugging it into their playlists often!

If you’re in the mood for a song with a slightly more laid-back vibe, you’ll find “Day Off” very much to your liking… I certainly did; I had it playing on my iPhone player this morning all across town – with lots of “replays”.  Eric’s keyboard on this tune is very distinctive, and I think he hits EVERY NOTE perfectly.

Of the nine originals Eric presents for our jazz adventure, I chose “The Weston Walk” for my personal favorite… there’s a kind of “back-alley feel” to it that brought back visions of late-night strolls ’round the jazz joints in Frankfurt, Germany… ultra-cool!

I give Eric and his mates a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.98 for this fine album.  Get more information on Eric’s websiteRotcod Zzaj
