Splendid big band debut Daniel Hersog, Noah Preminger, Frank Carlberg Daniel Hersog Orchestra – Night Devoid of Stars

Splendid big band debut Daniel Hersog, Noah Preminger, Frank Carlberg Daniel Hersog Orchestra – NIGHT DEVOID OF STARS:  Well, the night may have been without illumination, but there are SURELY stars on this splendid big band debut from Daniel Hersog… to get a taste of the high energy jazz they put together, watch the promo video first…

…there are a LOT more live performance videos when you SUBSCRIBE to Daniel’s YouTube channel, as I did (right away).

You’ll find songs like the 7:01 “Indelible” are so well crafted you won’t believe your ears… though this is a bit long, I still predict that jazz DJ’s around the globe will be spinning this one often!

The title track, “Night Devoid Of Stars“, is simply delicious, and features stunning talent… since the list is long, I recommend you view all the players on theCellar page for the release.   Full-bodied jazz that makes your spirit move in many inspiring directions.

Of the seven (very long) performances offered up, it was the amazing opener, “Cloud Break“, that (easily) got my vote for personal favorite… this is a GIANT debut that will be a jazz classic for years & years to come!

I give Daniel and all his players a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99 for this tremendously satisfying jazz journey.  Get more information on the Cellar Live page for the release.                       Rotcod Zzaj
