Sensitive delicate vocal intimacies Yumi Ito – Ekual

Sensitive delicate vocal intimacies Yumi Ito – EKUAL:  Every once in a blue moon, I get an album that feels like it’s a beacon for the future… the sensitive and delicate vocal intimacies Yumi shares on her new album shines the light on music you’ve never heard before… watch the “official version” of “Float and Drift“, featuring Yumi and guitarist extraordinaire Szymon Mika, and you’ll see/hear why I’m so excited about her work…

You’ll find several other enchanting performances, too, when you SUBSCRIBE to Yumi’s YouTube channel… I signed up right away.

Szymon’s beautiful intro for “My Restless Mind” will absolutely blow you away… I (most strongly) recommend that you listen to this tune (as well as all the others) with your headphones on, so you can catch every interaction… DJ’s around the world will be spinning this frequently!

The 4:09 “Running” has a very unique combination of guitar and percussion that perfectly compliment Yumi’s stunning words and vocal… you won’t believe the feeling they establish for you… a simple, but wonderful song.

I fell in love with the opener, “Minha Flor” (My Flower) immediately, and have no doubt you will too… Szymon’s instrumentation and Yumi’s vocal skills work effortlessly to create wonderful garden imagery for you!

The song that instantly captured my heart and soul is “Data Beta“… it was (without question) my choice for personal favorite of the seven songs offered up… Yumi shows a vocal range on this performance that will astound you (and your ears).

I give Yumi and Szymon a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating, as well as a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 5.00 – which means that they also get a “PICK” from me for “most unique vocal album”.  Get more information their BandCamp site for the album.                               Rotcod Zzaj
