Seductively shaped musical sculpture Michelle Qureshi – Within

Seductively shaped musical sculpture Michelle Qureshi – WITHIN:  There is truly nothing more I love than listening to an artist who is able to reach down deep inside me, and Michelle’s new album (due out 25 September, 2020) is certainly the most seductively shaped musical sculpture I’ve heard (yet) this year… she plays with an intensity for her music that few artists are able to achieve… to get a taste of that, watch this video of “With Tenderness” first…

…there aren’t any live tunes from the new album yet, but I strongly recommend that you SUBSCRIBE to Michelle’s YouTube channel, where you’ll find a LOT of beautiful performances.

I will come back and add samples in when I’m told the album has gone live, but for right now, I can tell you that tunes like “Sweet Child” will calm you and inspire you to see the “wee one” in everyone you meet… DJ’s are going to spin this song over and over again!

One thing Michelle is able to do better than many other guitarists is to convey images through her playing… if you listen to this with your headphones on (as I recommend), you will easily see the peaceful and enchanting “Shores of Atlantis” beckoning you to escape this world of woe.

Another notably crafted magical tune is “Beneath“… Michelle’s pacing is nothing less than perfection on this song… she guides you through some marvelous and very comforting changes that you will want to hear repeated often!

One thing Michelle had to say about her creations on this album that was especially impressive for me is “the shape of each piece revealed something special I found from within.“… nowhere is that more evident for me than on my personal favorite of the twenty-four (short) musical engravings, “With Langour“… the definition I found is “the state or feeling, often pleasant, of tiredness or inertia“… no one does that better than Michelle.

I give Michelle a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating for this superb musical adventure, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) score of 4.99.  Get more information on her myndstream page.                                          Rotcod Zzaj
