Sangeeta Kaur global peace song awards winner Sangeeta Kaur ASCENSION – NIGUMA VOLUME 2/THE MANTRA PROJECT: I’ve been listening to this ever since it dropped into my queue a couple of days ago… Sangeeta’s album isn’t set to release officially until 22 September, 2017, but you can pre-order it from iTunes, AND stream marvelous tunes like “Deum De Deo”, a total immersion in the peace and humility we have all been searching for and in need of… the strings are cosmic on this piece, as they well should be, since they are performed by the Hungarian Studio Orchestra of Budapest, and the deep reverence that Sangeeta projects through her vocals will lift your spirit beyond the trouble and toil we often let ourselves become mired in!
One of the things the bio highlights that Sangeeta is dedicated to is “demonstrating the true power and necessity of the goddess energy in modern times“, and with my many years of listening to nearly every type of music on the planet, I can tell you that she has achieved the focus she was after… just listen to the power she channels through her vocal on the shimmering “Summer’s Dance”, and you’ll fall in love with her musical vision immediately (as did I). Another distinction about the music on this album is that it was created to be performed live on stage, therefore becoming the first ever “Mantra Opera”… I would love to witness that in person, to be sure! Of the ten sonic wonders she has created on this second volume, it is (without question) the 5:20 “Samsara’s Tango” that is my personal favorite… her vocal just soars through the galaxies and winds up right inside your heart… not only will you want to “do the dance” she is making so real for your ears, you will want to join the transformation and awakening her music is enveloping the world with. I give Sangeeta my MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with a (perfect) “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 5.00.
