Neil Tatar magical original guitar and piano Neil Tatar – After The Rain

Neil Tatar magical original guitar and piano Neil Tatar – AFTER THE RAIN: Neil’s magical original guitar and piano is back for your enjoyment again… he’s been working (yet again) at the Imaginary Road Studios with Will Ackerman and many other high-talent musicians, and the music on the new album features him playing both piano and guitar.  As I listen to his guitar on the beautiful “When I Was Young”, it’s crystal clear why his playing has continued to wrap me (easily) into his spell… the laid-back pacing on this song is pure perfection, and brings back memories of cat-tails bobbing in the breeze next to gurgling creeks in the countryside where I grew up (in Western Pennsylvania) – this will touch your spirit and make it glisten with renewal.

I’ve been privileged to listen to and review his other two albums, too; “Learning To Fly” was reviewed in issue # 159, and “Where Did The Time Go” in issue # 148… he got high marks in both of those reviews, and the new release is even more astounding!

Another unique aspect of Neil’s musical talent is his ability to play the piano… certainly, other players are able to do that as well, but when you listen to his beautiful keyboard work on the opener, “Gentle Steps”, your ears will be most pleasantly surprised… of course, having Charlie Bisharat with him on violin only amplifies your listening experience… simply beautiful music that continues to draw me back!  Neil also organizes improvisational workshops that help other players expand their musical horizons… a video that will help you understand his dedication to helping others, and give you a comfortable introduction to his insights…

…as you heard, he is full of musical wisdom, and (even more importantly) able to translate his background and experience into the most beautiful music you will ever listen to.  My personal favorite of the ten new creations on this new release is the wonderful “Night Walk”, on which he is joined by many of the stalwarts at Will Ackerman’s Imaginary Road Studios, including Will himself (playing guitar and rainstick)I give Neil and his musical cohorts a MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, with an “EQ” (energy quotient) rating of 4.99; learn more about him at the Neil Tatar website.     Also – this CD is now in PRE-SALE mode… get your reduced-price copy at AMAZON or iTunes today!    Rotcod Zzaj
